Secrets managers
It surprised me to learn there’s two competing secrets manager startups outside the big-cloud and neo-cloud providers. Doppler and Infisical both serve as a “password manager for your engineers” when each of the clouds has one too. There’s also Vault of course, and others. It’s weird to me that there’s this much of a niche (and that something like BitWarden doesn’t eat it). The UX is barely different!
Does this all go away in the coming computer security apocalypse? Or does it become more important?
